The closed joint-stock company "Byelorussian transport company" is a forwarding company rendering services in transportation of all kinds of cargoes between the countries of the CIS, Baltic, Western, Central and East Europe using motor and railway services.

Since 2003 "Byelorussian transport company" has been closely cooperating with companies and enterprises of the Russian Federation carrying out through transportations on the grounds of direct contracts with the railways of the Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, Latvia, Lithuanian Republic, Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation.

Since 2002 the company is a member of the Byelorussian Association of International Forwarders (BAIF).

"Byelorussian transport company" is the official forwarder of the Byelorussian Railway that carries out forwarding of export-import and transit rail cargoes on the territories of the countries of the CIS, Baltic, Western, Central and East Europe.

At the heart of establishing of "Byelorussian transport company " lies the joint project of the regional transport company “Regiontranskom” and the Byelorussian concern on material resources “Belresursy”, approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, aiming to accomplish concern’s program tasks on promotion of Byelorussian goods to the markets of near and distant foreign countries, on increase of trade turnover and export of the Republic of Belarus.

Taking into account that transport charges play a significant role in ascertainment of product’s total cost and, as a consequence, in its competitiveness, and considering the difficult financial situation of the Byelorussian industry the main task of "Byelorussian transport company " is to cut down expenses for cargo transportations and to establish optimal conditions for maintenance of through transportations of goods to Baltic states and countries of the CIS.

The closed joint-stock company "Byelorussian transport company" effects joint activity with the Byelorussian Railway within the bounds of the program on acquittance of debts of Belarus for natural gas and energy sources delivered from Russia, and Agreements between Russian and Byelorussian Railways dated 05.06.2000.

After 5 years of work in the market of railway transportations the above mentioned regional company “Regiontranskom” recommended itself as a financially stable enterprise with highly qualified employees. According to statistical data for 2001 the monthly average volume of transportations of the company made: on the territory of the Byelorussian railway – 394.289 tons, annual - 4.731.471 tons. Volumes of transportations on the territory of the Byelorussian railway in money terms made: for 2000 - 11.490.898 $, for 2001 - 25.130.876 $, for 6 months of 2002 - 3.403.493 $. In 2003 volume of transportations of "Byelorussian transport company " on the territory of the Byelorussian railway is expected to make 10 million $.

Our regional company has practical experience in organization of rail transportation in the following directions:
• transportation of petroleum derivatives (export from Russia to third countries, delivery to Belarus, export of products of Novopolozk and Mozyr oil refineries);
• transportation of products of industrial enterprises of Belarus and Belkoopsojuz to the Russian Federation (automotive engineering, metalware, laden in bulk and perishable cargoes);
• transshipment of bulky cargoes in Baltic ports (Ventspils, Riga, Klaipeda), the scheme «vessel-van» with following transportation to consignee from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan;
• organization of cargo transportations between the Republic of Belarus and countries of the CIS, distant foreign countries (Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan) within the bounds of realization of intergovernmental agreements, etc.
